ITER ResourcesVisit Site
Iter was created in 1995-6 for the advancement of learning in the study and teaching of the European Middle Ages and the Renaissance. It is a not-for-profit partnership that depends on its partners and affiliate societies for guidance. The SCSC is a partner of Iter. SCSC members are entitled to a discount rate of $25.00 for an annual subscription to Iter's bibliography.
Iter provides medieval and early modern scholars access to an increasingly comprehensive bibliography of scholarly materials pertaining to the study of European culture between 400 and 1700. The online bibliography now includes 1,000,000 records for articles, essays, books, dissertation abstracts, encyclopedia entries and reviews, collected from more than 6,500 publications, including over 1,600 journals. The bibliography is available at www.itergateway.org. Future plans include access to online resources, and works of art and music.
In partnership with Brill, Iter offers subscribers access to the only online edition of Iter Italicum, Paul Oskar Kristeller's listing of uncatalogued, or incompletely catalogued, humanistic manuscripts of the Renaissance in libraries in Italy and around the world.

Created by Iter and the Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (ACMRS), the first publication in the series, John Shawcross's Milton: A Bibliography for the Years 1624-1700: Revised and For the Years 1701-1799, is now available for subscription. The second publication, Betty Travitsky\u2019s Bibliography of English Women Writers, 1500-1640, will be available early in 2008. In addition, plans are well underway to provide online access to a large number of publications in the ACMRS's MRTS print series.
