  • Guidelines for Presentations at the SCSC

    1. In most cases, your paper/presentation should be deliverable in no more than 20 minutes. This will leave time for questions from the audience.

    2. If your panel has a commentator listed in the program, please provide the commentator with a copy of your paper/presentation about one month prior to the conference. If you do not know the contact information for the commentator, contact the session organizer or a member of the program committee.

    3. We have made every effort to honor audio-visual requests made at the time of submission. We cannot accept any more A/V requests. The SCSC will NOT have a photocopier for your use. Please make any handouts prior to your arrival at the conference.

The SCSC is a welcoming and enjoyable conference. We look forward to your participation.

The SCSC, a not-for-profit scholarly organization, receives no governmental or institutional funding. In order to participate in this conference, delegates or their sponsoring institution/organization will need to fund their own travel and lodging expenses in addition to a $155 per delegate registration fee ($93 student fee). The registration fee is used to pay for conference facilities and general events. By paying the fee, delegates become members in the SCSC and receive the Sixteenth Century Journal.
