months, it is not too soon to make your travel and accommodations arrangements.
Hotel Reservations
To make room reservations, please contact the Hyatt Regency Hotel
St. Louis at Union Station directly. Be sure to tell the hotel agent
that you are part SCSC’s groups in order to get the conference
room rate. You can make your reservations by calling the hotel directly

Air Transportation and Travel from the Airport
The hotel is approximately 20-30 minutes from St. Louis’s Lambert
Field International Airport. Most major airlines serve Lambert Airport,
including: Air Canada, American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Northwest,
United, and USAirways.
There are a variety of options to travel from the airport to the hotel.
Taxi service is readily available, but usually quite expensive when
traveling alone.
Trans Express Transportation provides shared van service to downtown
hotels. Purchase tickets and board at: Main Terminal, Exit
Main Terminal 12; East Terminal, Exit ; East Terminal 12. Tickets
are $15.00 one
way, $25.00 round trip. Advanced reservation limousine/van
services are available for transportation to your destination in
St. Louis and
surrounding Missouri / Illinois location. Phone 1-314-427-3311.
You can also take Metrolink, St. Louis’ light rail system. It is
located on the upper level of the Main Terminal at Exit Main Terminal
1 and
the East Terminal through the parking garage on all levels.
Operating daily from 5 a.m. until midnight with tickets priced at
$3.50 for an
adult two-hour pass, $1.75 for seniors, customers with disabilities
and children under 12. Children under 5 ride for free. Get
off at the Unions Station stop.
Rail Transportation
Amtrak service is available from Chicago, Kansas City, and Dallas/Fort
Worth (via Little Rock). The Amtrak station is in the general vicinity
of the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Travel by Car
To the hotel via I-70:
Take 70 East. Exit Memorial Drive East. Turn
right at the 3rd light (Market Street). Stay on Market Street until
18th Street. We are on the left.
To Hotel via 40/64 East:. Exit at 20th at Chestnut. Turn right at the
light (20th Street). Turn left at the next light (Market Street). We
are on the right.
To Hotel via 44 East:
Exit Jefferson. Turn left at the light. Turn Right at Chouteau Avenue,
then Left on Truman Street, Turn Left on Market.
To Hotel via 55 North:
Exit Truman Parkway, follow to Market Street. Make Left at Market.
Hotel is on the left.
To Hotel via 55 South, 64 West, 40 West or 70 West:
Stay in the left hand lane under I-64 signs (while on bridge). Once
across the bridge, follow I-64 West for one mile. Exit Market at
21st Street. Turn right at the light (Market). We are three blocks
on the right.

Room / Ride Sharing
SCSC has a Facebook page with a “discussion board” for
conference
attendees who want to try to find roommates for the St. Louis
conference. If you have a Facebook account, you can post to the
discussion board if you are logged in on your account (see the
URL
below). Please note that this is an unmoderated discussion board.
The
SCSC does not monitor posts. Please be careful and do not exchange
